The pricing promise
A lot of garage door companies refuse to give you a price over the phone. By the time their technician is in your driveway you're already stuck — the door is broken, the car is trapped, and suddenly that "$199 spring repair" turns into $900 once "service fees", "diagnostic charges" and "premium parts" get layered on.
We don't operate that way. Every common repair has a published price on this site. That's the number you'll hear on the phone, and that's the number on the invoice — 7 days a week, day or evening. No emergency surcharges, no weekend rates, no diagnostic fee for showing up.
Our techs are Fenix employees, not subcontractors. They're trained to our standards, drive our trucks, and stand behind our warranty. When something needs follow-up, the same crew comes back — not a stranger from a different company.

New door installations
When repair stops making sense, a new door is the upgrade that pays for itself in curb appeal, insulation and reliability. We measure, source and install the door — and we haul the old one away.
Steel sandwich-construction doors with R-values rated for Alberta winters. Single, double and custom widths, any standard colour, optional window inserts.
Modern, traditional and carriage-style designs with overlay panels, decorative hardware and made-to-measure sizing.
Glass and aluminum doors for showrooms, modern homes and patios. Tempered, frosted or tinted panels.
Pedestrian-door inserts and swing-out designs for low-headroom garages or daily walk-in access.
LiftMaster belt-drive or jackshaft openers paired with your new door — programmed, tested and warrantied as one system.
We haul away your old door and hardware as part of every installation. No dump trips for you.
How our service works
No runaround, no callbacks, no surprises. Here's exactly how a Fenix service call goes from start to finish.
01
Tell us what the door is doing. We give you a price range on the phone before anyone gets dispatched.
02
A fully-stocked truck heads your way, usually within a few hours. We text on the way and on arrival.
03
Our tech inspects the door, explains what's failing, and confirms the exact, all-in price — before lifting a wrench.
04
Most jobs are finished in 60–90 minutes. We carry the parts, so the fix happens on the first visit.
05
Door is cycled, balanced and safety-tested. Warranty details are emailed on the spot, not 'in the mail'.
Common questions
Most repairs land between $150 for a small adjustment and $250 for a full pair of torsion springs. Opener replacements run from $650 depending on the model. The technician confirms the final number on-site before any work begins — no diagnostic fees, no surprise charges.
In most cases, yes. Calls before noon are almost always handled same-day; later calls usually get a same-day or first-thing-next-morning slot. Our trucks carry the parts for the common repairs, so most jobs are one visit.
No. The quote is the quote — whether it's Saturday night or Tuesday afternoon. We don't add emergency surcharges, weekend fees or holiday rates.
Every repair carries a minimum 1-year parts-and-labour warranty on the work performed. Spring replacements carry a 3-year warranty. New door and opener installations carry the manufacturer's coverage in addition to our own workmanship warranty.
Employees only. Every truck on the road is staffed by a Fenix technician — trained by us, insured by us, and accountable to you through us. That's why warranty service is fast and consistent.
All major brands: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Craftsman, Marantec, Overhead Door and Sommer. For replacements we install Chamberlain and LiftMaster belt-drive, chain-drive, Wi-Fi and jackshaft models.
A loud bang from the garage and a door that won't lift usually means a broken spring. A door that sits crooked or shows frayed wire on one side is a cable issue. When in doubt, call us and we'll diagnose over the phone at no charge.
